About Me
Denise Ibrahim is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified LENS Neurofeedback provider, Neuroscience Certified and a HeartMath provider. After earning a bachelor's degree in Psychology at a small college in Oregon, she moved to Wisconsin earning a master’s degree in Educational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Since then, she has worked in various social services and collegiate settings over the past 30 years.
She has experience working in local mental health centers in both Oregon and Washington, as well as both public and private sectors of Rehabilitation Counseling, Vocational Counseling, Consulting and Coaching. She has been a Family Therapist doing crisis home based interventions, worked at a graduate school, also in a hospital outpatient Traumatic Brain Injury Unit and has experience as a Disability Consultant & Counselor. She has led various groups both professionally and personally for close to 30 years.
In her spare time, she enjoys drinking tea, reading, cooking, going for walks, traveling, and spending time with family and friends or her two dogs.
